HELIODISCUS
The Heliodiscus Collection consists of four furnishings: a Cabinet , Lamp, Room Screen, and Coffee Table. These furniture pieces will be focusing on the high-end clever furniture niche. These pieces utilize a symbiosis of craft techniques and new technologies. I utilized modern manufacturing techniques using a gantry mill CNC and laser etching and cutting equipment. the main intent was to design components on these machines that will not look like mass produced pieces, but utilizing these technologies to create a handcrafted aesthetic. The pieces will be constructed using quality materials: Walnut, Brass, and Various Fabrics that will be true to themselves in final form.
